The Poor

The Poor: Mead Valley Ministry

verse:  He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD. Jeremiah 22:16

fact: Of the homeless population in Riverside County, 46% are white, 18% are children, 26% are families.

challenge: see the poor as human beings with rich cultural and personal stories, people with hopes and dreams, tragedies and triumphs and to love them first and then listen to them.
