Children at Risk
verse: Little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hider them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:13-14
fact: More than 26,500 children die every day of preventable causes related to their poverty. That is the equivalent of 100 jetliners crashing every single day. AIDS alone has now left 15 million children behind as orphans.
challenge: Realize that every issue putting children at risk has a solution and we are part of that solution.
