changed[D]: being changed by God to reach all people
here at the Grove, we have been changed, we are constantly being changed, and we are bringing forth CHANGE in our community and world. Because of all that Christ has done inside of us to transform our hearts and lives, we want to spread that same transformation throughout Riverside and to the ends of the earth.
why 180?
When you “do a 180” you’ve completely changed your perspective, you see things differently, you’re starting on a new path. For us, doing a 180 means turning around and looking at what’s right behind you, in your own backyard, the community of Riverside. Our current “180” issues are caring for foster children, empowering the under-resourced in Mead Valley, and showing compassion for those living with HIV/AIDS, or--as Jesus would say: the orphan, the poor, and the sick--… all right here in our own neighborhoods.
Why 360?
Doing a 360” implies turning all the way around, taking a look at the big picture. In the same way, we desire to look 360 degrees around us at the world and get a full circle picture of God’s activity in bringing his kingdom to earth. Our current “360” issues are befriending international students, reaching the Amdo Tibetan people group, and meeting the needs of children at risk.
As we “do a 180” or “do a 360” we are being CHANGE[D] while going into our local or global neighborhoods
